Boris Berman
Russian Pianist and Educator
A performer well known to audiences in fifty countries on six continents, Boris Berman is the Sylvia and Leonard Marx Professor at the Yale School of Music, where he teaches graduate students, coaches chamber groups, and heads the Piano Department. Berman has authored two books published by the Yale University Press: Prokofiev’s Piano Sonatas: A Guide for the Listener and the Performer (2008) and Notes from the Pianist’s Bench (2000; the new, electronically enhanced edition 2017).


Fabio Bidini
Italian Pianist and Educator
One of this generation's top-flight pianists, Fabio Bidini holds the Carol Colburn Grigor Piano Chair at the Colburn School (USA). He also serves as an Artist-in-Residence at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz in Köln (Germany). Fabio has previously served as faculty at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin (Germany).
Michael Endres
German-New Zealand Pianist and Educator
A graduate of the Juilliard School, Michael Endres has previously served as piano faculty at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz in Köln (Germany), the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin (Germany), and the Barratt Due Institute of Music in Oslo (Norway).


Neville Baird
New Zealand Educator
A graduate of the Royal Academy of Music, Neville Baird has over three decades of teaching experience. Having studied with leading pianists such as Shura Cherkassky and Peter Feuchtwanger, he possesses great knowledge and insight into the art of piano playing.
Lixin Zhang
Chinese-New Zealand Pianist and Educator
The founder of ToneAce Academy, Lixin Zhang has worked with many of the world's top pianists and instructed hundreds of aspiring piano students. He graduated from the Colburn School and is pursuing postgraduate studies at Yale School of Music. Lixin aims to pass on his knowledge and connections to the next generation of young pianists in New Zealand.
